I’m pleased to report that my thesis has been included in a recent review of PhDs in urban history and heritage in the journal Urban History. Tosh Warwick of the University of Glasgow engaged very thoroughly with my work in this piece and considers it within wider trends in the study of postwar landscapes and their relationship to heritage. It was fantastic to have Tosh present my work in this context for the Urban History readership and it is exciting to see the way that current trends in urban history are unfolding.
The full review is entitled “Research in urban history: recent Ph.D. theses on heritage and the city in Britain” and can be accessed here.
